Adobe has launched Adobe for Slack, bringing more than 70 professional-grade tools from Adobe’s creativity and productivity suites, including Firefly, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Stock, Lightroom, and many more, directly to Slack.
Millions of people use Slack every day to collaborate and advance their work, generating important work context within Slack across channels, conversations, and canvas. With Adobe’s new MCP app, users can ask Slackbot, Slack’s personal AI agent, to use that context and draw on Adobe tools to create, edit, and transform high-quality content, including images, videos, designs, and PDFs. Users can also upload content to Slack to refine it with the Adobe app or ask Slackbot to retrieve files from their Creative Cloud account.
High-quality conversations and content
The company offers us some examples of what is possible now that Slack is integrated into the Adobe application:
- Turn project plans and Slack conversations into content: Ask Slackbot to extract information from conversations and canvases and use Adobe to create PDFs, images, and videos.
- Find and use Creative Cloud assets: Search your Creative Cloud assets by theme, style, or atmosphere, then incorporate the right content into your workflow to further refine it or share it with your colleagues.
- Tailor campaign creatives to each channel: Use approved images and videos and quickly create variations tailored to the sizes of different social platforms.
- Turn data into shareable content: Incorporate a spreadsheet and use the Adobe application to transform the information into a PDF or visual resource that you can share with your team or client.
- Edit and refine images in bulk: Quickly refine sets of images, such as team profile photos, event photos, or product images. Remove unwanted backgrounds and elements, adjust lighting and hue, crop and resize images, and more, all from within Slack.
The launch of Adobe for Slack is part of the brand’s broader effort to make its tools available on the AI platforms that people use every day to research, solve problems, and work.

Last month, Adobe also launched Adobe for ChatGPT and is working to soon bring its tools to Google Gemini so that all users on different platforms can take advantage of it.
