Ariadna is the new agentic software engineering platform introduced by h&k, which enables the development of high-quality, secure software in a governed framework. Ariadna arises as the company’s response to vibe coding, a rapid approach to software development that uses AI as the main engine.

In the words of Ariadna’s Product Lead, Carlos Gutiérrez, “vibe coding is good for rapid prototyping, but not for software that has to go into production in organizations with minimal complexity. Ariadna also uses AI, but in a governed framework, where traceability, human signature, automation and quality are our guiding principles.

According to data from JetBrains (AI Pulse, January 2026), 90% of professional developers use AI regularly, either as a co-pilot or through more advanced agents and CLI environments. But adoption has not solved the underlying problems. Multiple iterations are still needed to reach an acceptable solution, the consumption of context and tokens is high, and a significant supervision effort is required to verify that the AI does what is asked of it and does not introduce unwanted changes. And traceability, a problem that seemed solved, is back in the foreground. At the speed at which AI produces changes, answering what was changed, why, and who approved it is no longer trivial and becomes essential.

Ariadna, in the words of Carlos Gutiérrez, “was born with the idea of relieving the language model of the need to understand the context, for which we rely on knowledge graphs built deterministically from the organization’s own code. “This way the AI receives the context already outlined and mapped, instead of having to search for and interpret it on its own, and concentrates on the work it is really effective at.” Before touching a single line, the platform delineates which parts of the system are affected by each change, so that each intervention is bounded, mapped and auditable from start to finish.

Ariadne is independent of the language model

The platform created by h&k combines a front-end where key development roles interact with specific agents for each stage of the development cycle; and an advanced orchestration model that automates iterations between stages and reserves human intervention for approval decisions. Ariadna is language model agnostic, allowing each organization to work with the AI vendor that best fits their policies and budget.

Ariadna is offered in two modalities. On the one hand, as a service operated by h&k for the construction of new applications, the modernization of legacy and obsolete applications and/or the evolutionary and corrective maintenance of existing applications. In this modality h&k operates Ariadna and the client only receives the results; that is, the developed software and its operation and use documentation.

On the other hand, Ariadna serves as a framework for companies that want to implement their own agentic software engineering solution. In this model, h&k accompanies companies in the diagnosis of their starting situation, in the definition of the roadmap and in the implementation of its own model, incorporating Ariadna assets into the client’s solution under a shared intellectual property model.

In the case of maintenance of existing solutions, efficiencies have been measured with respect to traditional software development of more than 70% savings in time, 50% reduction in costs and a 30% improvement in quality and security offered by the Ariadna platform, compared to standard analyzers such as SonarQube.

After a first validation phase with reference clients during the summer of 2026, Ariadna now begins its general launch to the global market. The platform thus moves from a controlled beta environment to a public availability phase, aimed at companies in any industry and with a special fit in regulated sectors or organizations with legacy systems that seek to accelerate the development, modernization or maintenance of applications through AI, without assuming the risks associated with Vibe Coding.
