Following the roadmap of new product launches that the company usually carries out throughout the year, Samsung has presented its new family of tablets from the Galaxy Tab S12 series, the range of more professional equipment that it markets with intensive use of the equipment in mind.
Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ feature immersive displays and include the S Pen, ergonomically designed for easy note-taking and precision editing. With easy access to professional-grade apps and versatile accessories, users can develop their interests and advance their goals with ease.
“The Galaxy Tab S12 series is designed for people who constantly explore new ideas, develop new skills and realize their aspirations,” said Jay Kim, executive vice president and head of Mobile eXperience (MX) Customer Experience Office at Samsung Electronics. “With industry-leading hardware, the Galaxy Tab S12 series combines a large format display with the power of Galaxy AI, removing the barriers to complex tasks so users can focus on achieving impactful results.”
Combination of performance and productivity
The Galaxy Tab S12 series combines powerful performance and long-lasting battery life in a thin and light design, so users can do more wherever they are. At just 5.1mm thin, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is Samsung’s thinnest Galaxy Tab while delivering the most powerful performance of a Galaxy Tab yet, keeping you productive all day long. For example, those who combine an online course with their work can take advantage of their travel to follow a class and, later, do the course exercises on their large screen from a cafeteria or a library.
Galaxy Tab S12 series delivers the most powerful Galaxy Tab performance yet
Both models are prepared to accompany the user during long days without interrupting their rhythm. On a single charge, the battery offers up to 23 hours of battery life on the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and up to 21 hours on the Galaxy Tab S12+, allowing for long periods of productivity anywhere. When recharging your batteries, it is possible to reach one hundred percent capacity in approximately 95 minutes with the 45W adapter, reducing downtime to a minimum.
The Galaxy Tab S12 series delivers the most powerful performance from a Galaxy Tab yet, able to keep up with even the most demanding tasks. The advanced 3nm processor provides up to 61% faster NPU processing, 19% higher CPU performance and 17% improved GPU power compared to Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
For its part, the Galaxy Tab S12 incorporates a large 14.6-inch screen, which makes it easy to explore complex topics and consult different sources or content at the same time. Galaxy Tab S12+ features a 12.6-inch screen and thinner frames than its predecessor, with 2x Dynamic AMOLED panels that reach 1,600 nits of maximum brightness.
The sound also evolves thanks to 4-channel spatial audio, twice as many channels as the previous generation, offering a richer and more immersive experience, both when playing content, following a tutorial or performing editing tasks.
The value of the S Pen together with the applications
Both models include an ergonomic S Pen, which offers precise and intuitive interaction for taking notes, annotating documents and sketching ideas. For those looking for a more structured and professional workspace, the Pro Keyboard increases productivity with a premium aluminum finish and a Galaxy AI key for instant access to AI assistants, while the Book Cover Keyboard Slim provides flexibility with comfortable viewing angles and a fluid typing experience.
dobe Photoshop comes pre-installed on the Galaxy Tab S12 series, for the first time on Android tablets, bringing professional image editing and design tools to devices. The interface is optimized for tablets and compatibility with the S Pen allows you to transfer ideas from your hand to the screen in a more intuitive way.
Additionally, another series of very interesting tools appear, such as Notability, Goodnotes, LumaFusion, Notion or Clip Studio Paint. Additionally, MyScript Math solves handwritten equations and MyScript Note summarizes handwritten notes.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series will be available in Spain starting October 7 on Samsung.com, in gray, with prices starting at €1,299 for the Galaxy Tab S12+ and from €1,539 for the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
