Wolters Kluwer has held a new edition of its Advisory Forum, bringing together advisory professionals and sector experts in Madrid and Barcelona to analyze the trends and challenges that are transforming the professional firm, including the rapid adoption of AI and preparations for regulatory developments such as Verifactu, whose entry into force is scheduled for early 2027.

Both at the Madrid event, held today, and at the Barcelona event, last week, Liscia presented an x-ray of the professional office based on the conclusions of the fifth edition of the Counseling Barometer. The Wolters Kluwer report reflects the magnitude of the transformation of the sector and reveals that the 70.5% of offices already use artificial intelligencewhile 67.5% consider digitalization to be a strategic priority.

The Madrid day included Luis de Guindosformer vice president of the European Central Bank and former Minister of Economy, who has analyzed European economic policy in the current geoeconomic environment. The Advisors Forum has also offered specialized sessions on tax and labor matters. Representatives of the Labor and Social Security Inspection, the Col·legi d’Economistes de Catalunya, the Registry of Tax Advisory Economists (REAF) and Fomento del Trabajo Nacional have analyzed some of the regulatory developments that are transforming the work of professional firms, among them, Verifactu and the electronic invoice, digital time registration and salary transparency.
