SUSE expands the availability of its open infrastructure portfolio for use on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including availability of the entire SUSE suite on Oracle Marketplace. Additionally, SUSE offers solutions that support centralized management of multiple Linux systems, AI workflows based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and accelerated infrastructure that customers can deploy on OCI.

“Enterprise customers need absolute reliability and flawless performance when scaling sovereign AI or standardizing complex hybrid cloud environments,” said Jim Sarale, director of global partners and industries at SUSE. “SUSE is focused on providing IT leaders with a frictionless enterprise platform designed to simplify operations in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.”

Centralized management of multiple Linux systems for OCI environments

To help organizations manage heterogeneous IT environments, SUSE enables its customers to use Multi-Linux Manager (MLM) and Multi-Linux Support (MLS) with workloads running on OCI. These capabilities allow organizations to monitor and operate multiple Linux distributions and versions through a single, unified portal. By helping organizations standardize operations in hybrid environments, SUSE provides them with a consistent approach to managing their Linux infrastructures, while maintaining complete control.

Agent AI Workflows and Sovereign Cloud Infrastructure

SUSE AI Factory is being consolidated as part of a comprehensive portfolio to be deployed at OCI to support enterprise AI adoption. The solution connects developer workstations to OCI Compute instances to support model training, scaling, and inference.

Running SUSE AI Factory on OCI provides organizations with a comprehensive foundation for sovereign AI that maintains data governance and operational control in hybrid environments. It is designed for organizations to leverage existing business investments, either as an orchestration layer within existing environments or as a complete, managed, full-stack solution.

Consolidated billing through OCI

Businesses can use their existing Oracle Universal credits to manage SUSE solutions. This creates a single, hassle-free billing experience, allowing teams to avoid lengthy legal processes and consolidate their expenses. SUSE makes it easier than ever to align your software budget with your OCI infrastructure.
