Acronis has consolidated its leadership thanks to a combination of technological innovation, global expansion and recognition of the industry. In the last year, their solutions avoided more than 7.5 million attacks, confirming the effectiveness of their preventive approach.
The company, which began its cybersecurity career seven years ago, has expanded its offer with tools such as data loss prevention (DLP), email security, and EDR, XDR and MDR solutions driven by artificial intelligence. Currently, more than 50 % of their partners use several of these solutions on their platform, reflecting a tendency towards integrated cyberprotection.
One of Acronis’s greatest growth drivers has been its Cyber Protect platform, recently recognized by Canals analysts such as the preferred option for managed service providers (MSP) and SMEs. In the 2025 cybersecurity leadership matrix, the company was first classified as “champion.”
“Acronis offers a complete platform that integrates security services, data protection and operational management, which reinforces the company’s approach to priority to the MSP,” said Matthew Ball, chief analyst at Canalys. “With the expansion of its portfolio in 2024, Acronis continues to provide new income opportunities and advanced protection against threats.”
Acronis recognition
For its part, Frost & Sullivan also positioned the company as a growing leader and innovation in its Frost Radar report: Endpoint Security 2025. The Özgün Pelit analyst highlighted Acronis’s ability to adapt to sectors such as health, manufacturing or retail. “Its flexible service model and modular approach allow advanced protection adjusted to companies with limited resources,” he said.
Acronis’s position in the cybersecurity market is reinforced thanks to its advanced solutions, its strategic hiring and a growing global customer base
In addition to the recognition of the sector, Acronis has strengthened its commitment to research through its threat research unit (TRU), under the leadership of Gerald Beuchet, New Ciso of the Company. This team is dedicated to detecting and analyzing emerging threats, generating key intelligence that feeds both its products and the global cybersecurity community.
“We all know that cybersecurity is a basic need, but in Acronis we believe that it must also guarantee the complete recovery of data and systems, preserving confidentiality, integrity and availability,” explained Denis Cassinerio, general director for southern EMEA. “Our integrated platform improves technical productivity by combining intelligence on threats, automation and integrations ready to use.”
Acronis’s sustained effort has also been recognized by users. The Cyber Protect Cloud solution was awarded as “Top Product” by AV-TEST and received the maximum score in the G2 Winter 2025 Grid report in the Endpoint protection suit category.
With more than 200 patents and a global template where a large part is dedicated to R&D, Acronis continues to set the pattern in an increasingly critical sector for companies of all sizes.
