In the midst of a transformation in the technological field of our country, the Aggity firm takes a strategic step to reinforce its presence in the field of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). The company has announced an agreement with infoDirect that will allow it to integrate and strengthen its new business unit, called Dalia Analytics, which will operate under the “dalia by aggity” brand.

This move seeks not only to consolidate the capabilities of both organizations, but also to deploy integrated data and AI solutions for all areas of Aggity’s activity. Until now, analytics services were spread across various areas; With Dalia Analytics, talent, resources and proposals are centralized, with a view to increasing its impact in various sectors.

The financial forecast of the new unit is ambitious: Aggity estimates that Dalia Analytics will close the year with more than 2 million euros in revenue, a figure that they expect to triple in the next three years, reaching 6 million euros by 2028. In parallel, the specialized staff that makes up the Dalia team will go from the current 20 to around 40 professionals in that same time horizon.

“With Dalia Analytics we created one of the most competent and talented work groups in this area in our country,” said Óscar Pierre, president of Aggity, who added that with this unit the “Data & AI business will take on cruising speed.” For her part, Ariadna Puigventós (the one chosen to lead it) stressed that “AI and data analytics are essential technologies for companies that want to be competitive; how to approach them with versatility, personalization or ethics is the key to succeeding or failing.”

Leadership and strategic approach

Ariadna Puigventós assumes the position of Head of Data Analytics and AI with a solid background: she has more than 15 years of experience in national and international environments, having promoted digital transformation projects in companies such as Volkswagen, Allianz Seguros, T-Systems or Wallbox. Puigventós approaches this new mission with an approach focused on data as a strategic asset, promoting a “data derived” culture that helps turn information into a driver of sustainable growth.

Aggity’s strategy incorporates the decision to divest less profitable units, such as Aggity People, sold to the French group Silae, to channel resources towards emerging technologies with high potential. In this framework, Dalia Analytics is positioned as one of the two transversal axes of the company along with Advanced Technologies, which concentrates services in cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity and programming.

Dalia Analytics: differential proposal and technological deployment

Dalia Analytics’ offer is based on five pillars:

– Data adoption and culture

– Data strategy and governance

– Platform and data engineering

– Business intelligence and advanced analytics

– Data science and AI

Unlike some large consulting firms that operate tied to certain manufacturers, this unit adopts an agnostic and multi-platform approach, capable of designing personalized projects for each client and sector.

The operation with InfoDirect not only strengthens the technical muscle of the project, but also expands its client portfolio, with a special focus on the financial sector. Entities such as CaixaBank, Comercia or Banco Santander are mentioned as examples of institutions that could benefit from the joint capabilities of the new unit.

From a technological point of view, the Dalia Analytics team adds knowledge in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), advanced modeling with SAS, Apache Spark, TensorFlow for machine learning and deep learning, management of SQL, NoSQL and vector databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Pinecone), integration of data flows with Apache NiFi and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker. In the field of development and deployment, he masters stacks such as Java, .NET, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes for scalable solutions.

Accelerate the adoption of AI in Spain and Europe

The announcement comes in a context in which many organizations in Spain and Europe seek to accelerate the adoption of AI and advanced analytics to improve their competitiveness. The key for many of them lies less in the technology itself than in the way it is integrated: with flexibility, data governance and ethics, elements in which Aggity intends to differentiate itself through Dalia Analytics.

Likewise, the commitment responds to the need to consolidate specialized units with a transversal approach that does not depend on secondary or non-strategic businesses. With this reorganization, Aggity is committed to shifting its orientation towards segments with great future projection, where the convergence of data and artificial intelligence plays a central role.
