Cyberinemunity is the concept that is marking the new roadmap in industrial cybersecurity. During the first week of June, the Basque Country becomes an epicenter of this transformation with the simultaneous celebration of events Bedigital and THE VOICE OF THE INDUSTRY-CCI.

In this context, Kaspersky has presented the results of his most recent report, «Securing ot with Purpose-Built Solutions»focused on how organizations address the protection of their technological operating systems (OT) and information technology (IT) before an increasingly unpredictable digital environment.

One of the pillars of the study is precisely this new vision: cyberinmunity. In the case of Spain, 76% of the professionals surveyed claim to be familiar with the term. Among them, more than half (56%) considers that it is a “very effective” strategy to stop the actions of cybercriminals. 34% of experts say that cyberberinmunity would not only reduce the frequency of incidents, but also their impact, while 10% believe it can be key to significantly reduce the number of attacks suffered.

“The results confirm a change that we have been anticipating for a long time: companies go beyond reactive tools and need systems that have been designed taking into account security. Cyber Immunity not only detects threats, but also prevents them structurally,” says Dmitry Lukiyan, head of Kasperskyos business unit.

The report reveals unanimous support among Spanish professionals who know this approach: 100% considers it valid and useful against current cybersecurity challenges. This unanimity underlines a clear tendency towards more proactive and structural protection models, moving away from the traditional approach based exclusively on reactive barriers or later patches.

KASPERSKYOS: Cyberinmunity platform

In response to this evolution, Kaspersky has reinforced his technological proposal with the expansion of Kasperskyos, an operating system designed from its origin with principles of cyberberinmunity. Although it was conceived for industrial sectors with specific needs, it now expands to cover all types of organizations that depend on computer systems.

This operating system not only improves cyberbrain resistance, but also allows developing solutions directly on its safe architecture. “We are helping customers build resistant digital environments that are easier to manage, safer to operate and are ready for future challenges,” concludes Lukiyan.

In an environment where threats do not give truce, the concept of cyberinmunity is consolidated as a strategic commitment to those companies that do not want to limit themselves to reacting, but anticipating structurally to risk.
