Data protection remains one of the great challenges of organizations in a scenario marked by increasingly sophisticated cyberbrains and the need to maintain business continuity. In this context, Veeam Software has presented its first totally preconfigured and reinforced software solution: VEEAM Software Appliancea proposal that seeks to simplify digital resilience and accelerate backup and recovery strategies.
A change in the way of displaying data protection
The novelty of this solution lies in its format: it is an Appliance software distributed as an starting image (ISO) or packaged virtual device, based on its own linux system (Jeos) maintained and reinforced by the company. This allows to eliminate manual installation, configuration and update processes, while offering hardware independence and a design prepared to function in physical, virtual or cloud environments.
Anand Eswaran, CEO of the company, highlighted the commitment to immediacy and security:
“With Veeam Software Appliance we give organizations a fast, safe and preconfigured data protection. Unlike other alternatives that require advanced configuration knowledge, our solution works as soon as they settled, reducing the shoes for management and without compromising security or flexibility.”
Safety and immediate recovery in the cloud
The solution is designed with Zero Trust access controls, integrated immutability and automatic patches, which reinforces cyber resilience from the first day of implementation. In addition, it introduces the first instant recovery in Azure, allowing companies to execute restoration processes directly in the cloud without depending on specific hardware.
Market impact and availability
With this launch, Veeam expands its scope towards organizations that seek agility in their deployments, from new implementations to peripheral environments. By eliminating the need for additional licenses of operating systems or hardware devices, it also helps reduce the total property cost. The company has launched an early version available globally and offers a free 30 -day test for new customers.
