Kyndryl has presented a new cybersecurity solution in alliance with Microsoft: Kyndryl Consult Data Security Posture Management. This proposal seeks to strengthen the safety position of organizations’ data, especially in hybrid and complex environments, through the use of Microsoft Purview, one of the most advanced platforms in protection, privacy and regulatory compliance.
The initiative is part of a strategic collaboration that both companies have maintained since 2021 and has given rise to joint solutions in resilience and cybersecurity. The new service combines Kyndryl’s knowledge in consulting with Microsoft technology, to allow organizations to detect, classify and protect sensitive data automatically, while reducing their risk exposure.
“Organizations face enormous challenges when managing complex computer environments and, at the same time, protecting confidential data and complying with the normative requirements,” says Tony of Bos, vice president of Kyndryl’s security and resilience. “This collaboration with Microsoft allows us to help our clients create more resistant environments that make data security go from being a need for compliance with a strategic advantage.”
From Microsoft, they also highlight the relevance of this launch for responsible innovation processes. “Working together with Kyndryl, we train customers to significantly strengthen the safety of their data, simplify their risk management processes and build a solid base for the responsible AI,” explains Ricardo Dávila, general director of GSI in Microsoft.
Microsoft Purview: Data Safety
The service includes several key functions: from proactive risk detection and data protection in local and cloud environments, to the simplification of the IT environment through a centralized vision of data assets. It also offers tools for regulatory compliance and to establish a safe infrastructure that serves as a basis for the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Kyndryl’s new services use Microsoft Purview and help companies improve data detection and protection, as well as IA preparation
According to the report Kyndryl ai Readiness Reportalthough 86% of the leaders consider their implementation of AI as advanced, only 29% feel prepared to face the associated future risks. The new service seeks to reduce this gap, allowing the data not only to be protected, but also to be ethically and efficient.
Kyndryl has reinforced its alliance with Microsoft through its participation in the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (Mass) and has recently been recognized with the specialization in access and identities management thanks to its experience in Microsoft -based solutions in ID.
