We embrace more and more official matters from the smartphone. The MOBKITNA application regularly gets new functions to facilitate life. One of them, “elections”, will be useful especially in the hot period before voting. It’s a simple way to check where and whether we can vote at all.
In this article, we break down into prime factors, how a new function works in a mobittyl, which you can check thanks to it and why it is worth using it before you move to the election with evidence and a sad conviction that “there is nobody to vote for again” …;)
Mobjatek and elections – a duo that makes sense
Participation in the election is not a complicated tasks – you go, vote, throw the card into the urn. Sometimes, however, it is not known where to vote exactly. There are also those who are not sure that they can vote at all. And it was with them in mind that the mobstor has the “election” tab.
What can you check? Not only the voting place!
After entering the “Elections” tab in the mobile, you get access to a few key information. Above all: Do you have active voting right – So can you vote. Next: address of your electoral commissionalong with circuit number and the full address of the headquarters. You no longer have to look or google “where I vote in my city.” Everything can now be checked in the application.
However, this is not all – the application will also show The date and type of upcoming elections (be it presidential, parliamentary or European). Importantly, you can also view your data in the Central Register of Voters and make sure that everything is correct.
Change of voting? Take a look at the mobile.
If you plan to be in a different city on the day of the election than usual, you can change the voting location once. It is true that you will not do it directly in the application, but the mobstor will redirect you straight to the form on gov.pl. A few clicks and ready – without running around offices. Note: this option It does not work in the case of local government electionsbut when it comes to parliament, president or European Parliament, by all means.
Where do the data in the mobile come from?
The data in the service comes from the Central Register of Voters, i.e. the system based on the Electoral Code. This is a digital list of all people who have the right to vote – both Poles and some foreigners. The register serves, among others to draw up the census and organizations of elections themselves. In short: this is where it is written who, where and when it can vote. The mobstor has been integrated with this system and we can now check information in the application.
Voting on the phone? Not this time.
Many people think that since we already have an application, maybe someday just click “Vote” and it’s ready. There is no chance for it yet. You will not vote in the mobile – You must go to your electoral commission or vote correspondence or by a proxy. The application will only tell you where this committee is, what address it has and when the election day falls.
Verification of the election identity
Since we are already voting – it is worth mentioning that MOBKitan also acts as a full -fledged identity documentwhich we can show at the urn. If you forget a physical ID card, but you have a phone with an installed and active application, you don’t have to go home. The Commission is obliged to consider the application as a form of identification.
