Epson has introduced two new A3 scanners for businesses. These are the WorkForce DS-51000WN and WorkForce DS-71000WN models, both designed for organizations with demanding document capture and digitization requirements that require great reliability and resolution.
Combining high-speed scanning, integrated network connectivity and a sleek, compact design, the new models help businesses improve productivity, streamline document management workflows and support the transition from paper-based processes to efficient digital document management.
Business environments and vertical sectors
The new scanners are designed for a wide range of verticals and business environments, from healthcare providers digitizing patient records and administrative documents, to law firms scanning and archiving contracts and records. They are also suitable for large businesses that need reliable scanning of A3 and A4 documents in departments, shared workspaces and centralized document capture environments.
Both models feature built-in networking capabilities, USB 3.2 SuperSpeed connectivity, and an intuitive touchscreen interface, making them easy to install, access, and operate in busy office environments. Its advanced image processing and versatile document handling help ensure high-quality results across a wide range of document types, while its high reliability helps organizations with regular, high-volume scanning needs.
The WorkForce DS-71000WN scanner adds Epson’s web-based open platform capability, enabling seamless integration with Epson and third-party software solutions. This allows the scanner to be part of a broader document management ecosystem, with smoother document flows and consistent user experiences alongside other Epson devices, including multifunction printers.
Open Platform compatible
The new range is compatible with Epson software including Document Capture Pro for Windows, Document Capture for Mac and Epson Connect. The DS-71000WN also supports integration with third-party solutions through Open Platform, as well as Epson Print Admin, Epson Print Admin Advanced Workflow and Epson Print Admin Serverless, helping IT teams and service providers manage scanning workflows more efficiently and securely.
