This news will please many of you – from now on you don’t have to print the things you need at work, if not your own, then at your friends’ request, or look for printing places, of which there are fewer and fewer. Just go to Żabka.
You no longer need a printer at home
Printers in Polish homes are an increasingly rare sight. On the one hand, due to the decreasing need for printing, and on the other, due to the expensive operation of the devices themselves. If we need to print something once, twice or even several times a year, we prefer to use company-owned devices, or at printing points. However, these are mainly available only near the university.
And here the sharing economy came to the rescue, the potential of which was noticed at the right time by the Zeccer company, which focused on full automation in this area and its own printers with remote access, set up in many locations in Poland – in places such as : :

They appeared primarily in shopping centers and larger stores such as Auchan, Carrefour, Stokrotka or Kaufland, but also in public libraries and gas stations. However, these are still places that you usually have to travel to. So it was a natural move to find a location where most of us can go for a short walk, i.e. Żabki.
Printers in Żabki – how to use them?
Using Zeccer printers in Żabki does not differ significantly from those in the previous and above-mentioned points, but I am convinced that many of you are hearing about this option for the first time, so I will show you step by step how to print the necessary things on such a printer.
First, we need to find such a printer in the location closest to us. To do this, go to this website and enter your address, or town if you want to choose the most convenient printing point on the map. If we want to find printers located only in Żabki, we must use this search engine and location map.
On the website of each printer in the system, you will find its exact address, price list, whether we can print in color or only black and white, and the opening hours of a given point, and most importantly – whether a given printer is online, i.e. ready to print.
If ready, we can start the printing process, conveniently – at home, at our desk. We add our file that we want to print to the order, and in the options we can select the number of copies, whether the print should be in color and whether it should be double-sided.
After everything, we check the order summary, including the number of copies and the final printing price, and proceed to payment. It may be BLIK, Przelewy24 payment gateway or payment card.
Now the most important thing – after making the payment, a message will appear asking whether to start printing now or later. If we generated the order on a smartphone at a given printer, we can start printing immediately, if at home – we click later. Then we will receive a direct print order to the e-mail address we provided, which we can run from e-mail once we arrive and are at the printer itself.
There is also an option to order such a printout by sending the file to the e-mail address of the selected printer – each of them has its own individual address provided on the website in the search results.
For me, this is a great option, for occasional use for my needs, and will certainly please people who care about the environment. The question is, what about the security of such a solution? Zeccer ensures that all files sent to such printers are encrypted and after printing, they are immediately deleted from the servers.
