About 80% of users believe that AI significantly improves their experience with mobile devices, highlighting their crucial role in optimization of daily tasks and improving efficiency. This is detached by a recent study by Samsung and Ipsos in Spain, where the growing importance of this technology in the daily life of users has been revealed.

On this, David Alonso, director of the Mobility Area at Samsung Electronics, emphasizes that AI has established itself as an essential element in mobile experience and a determining factor in the choice of devices, «artificial intelligence is the fundamental pillar of the New Galaxy S25 series ».

In addition, 59% of users values ​​the integration of AI in their daily activities, highlighting their ability to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Tools such as the visual search Circle to Search with Google and the Nightgraphy night mode are frequently used by more than 60% of users, while other functions, such as the study of portraits and the slow instant chamber, are less popular.

Among the functionalities most valued by users are simultaneous translation, the interpreter and circumsion to Search with Google, which facilitate communication, access to information and interaction with devices. 84% of respondents believe that AI means them significantly to communicate in other languages, highlighting their high impact on everyday life.

The study also highlights generational differences in the use and perception of AI. Generation Z and millennials up to 35 are especially optimistic about artificial intelligence, with more than 80% considering that it has positively revolutionized the way the tasks are performed. These young people emphasize that AI has improved their creativity and allows them to perform activities that were not able to carry out, increasing their efficiency and quality of life.

In contrast, the Boomer generation shows less enthusiasm for AI, although it also recognizes its benefits. Boomers are less likely to worry about the loss of jobs due to AI compared to young people, but believe to a greater extent that this technology will increase inequalities.

Despite the generalized acceptance of AI, the report reveals that 90% of users express concern for technological security. The main barriers are the uncertainty about who has access to information and reliability of the results generated by AI. 29% of respondents have stopped using some application for fear of compromising their safety.

The perception of risk also varies according to age. Those over 46 are the ones who most care about privacy, while young people show greater resignation due to the possibility of sharing their data in favor of a better use experience.

As for users’ expectations on new functionalities, 70% consider that the tools of AI will improve their daily life, and the percentage rises to 80% when it comes to functions developed by Samsung. Among the most anticipated functionalities are personal assistance, educational assistance and advanced tools for editing images and videos.
