In addition, 58% expresses concern for deficiencies in their processes, which could limit the value of AI initiatives. This is highlighted by Celonis, in his study “Process Optimization Report 2025”.
The report highlights how process intelligence is essential for AI to provide processable information, suggest shocking recommendations and execute effective actions. And, most companies are implementing this technology, with only 1% of managers stating that they are not doing so. Despite this, the expectations for next year are high.

Among the main conclusions of the study, is that 81% of companies plan to use AI specifically to improve business processes in the next 12 months. In addition, 74% of respondents indicate that their budgets for AI are increasing, and 64% believe that AI will provide a significant investment return. Currently, 61% of companies are already deploying AI applications such as Chatbots and Genai assistants to improve operational efficiency.
