Kyocera has celebrated four decades in Spain with the celebration of an institutional event at its headquarters in Las Rozas (Madrid), where employees, partners, clients and authorities gathered to commemorate a journey marked by constant evolution and commitment to innovation.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Japan in Spain, Takahiro Nakamae; the Mayor of Las Rozas, José de la Uz; and the President of Kyocera Document Solutions Europe, Takuya Marubayashi. They all agreed to highlight the role of the Spanish subsidiary as a benchmark for sustainability and digital transformation within the group.

Four decades of evolution

During the ceremony, Jose Luis AlonsoCEO of Kyocera Document Solutions Spain, recalled that this anniversary “It is not just a number, but the sum of many personal and professional stories that have allowed the company to evolve successfully in an environment of constant change”.

The closing of the event was carried out by Takuya MarubayashiPresident of Kyocera Document Solutions Europe, who wanted to recognize the work of the Spanish team and the strategic role of the subsidiary within the group. “Spain is not just another market; it is an essential pillar in our ecosystem due to its talent, its innovative spirit and its alignment with the values ​​that define who we are as Kyocera,” he stated. As a symbolic closing of the day, attendees participated in the creation of a time capsule which will be sealed in the company’s facilities. Inside, objects representative of the moment – such as a newspaper of the day, yen coins and messages from employees and collaborators – that will serve as a testimony for future generations.
