Madrid hosted on April 24 a new edition of Microsoft Influence Day, a day that brought together more than 70 professionals from the IT scope and the channel to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity are transforming the business landscape. The event, promoted by Ingram Micro in collaboration with Microsoft, took place at the headquarters of the latter in the capital and was consolidated as a key meeting point for those who seek to lead digital innovation.
With the motto “AI: Innovation and business growth”the day combined practical sessions, specialized presentations and live demonstrations, including that of the Unitree G1 humanoid robot, which opened the event by Dario Samaniego, CEO of Synergytech. The presence of the robot symbolized the leap that many companies are already giving towards the integration of emerging technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence.
“AI and cybersecurity are not desirable future, but necessary realities. Companies that want to grow will have to integrate them strategically in their processes,” said Pablo Ruiz-Hidalgo, Cloud Director of Ingram Micro. “This event is the essential event for professionals who want practical responses to the challenges of the present,” he added.
