As of today, all Movistar customers can enjoy perplexity pro, an advanced response engine based on artificial intelligence (AI) that uses natural language to respond clearly and directly to user consultations. With this initiative, Movistar becomes the first telecommunications company in Spain to offer all its customers, both mobile and fixed telephony, the latest advances in AI.

Perpleplexity Pro not only answers questions, but also allows users to deepen their consultations through monitoring questions, creating a personalized dialogue experience. In addition, users can load files and images for analysis, ask questions about the content and get summaries. The response engine also recovers real -time information from the Internet, which makes it ideal for current topics or last minute information.

Perplexity Pro

Access to Perplexity Pro is included without additional cost in Mimovistar and other Movistar hiring options. Customers can activate the service through their personal area on the Movistar website or in the Mimovistar app. Each client receives a personalized URL that can use up to five times to activate the pro -service version for 12 months, allowing it to share it with family and friends.

Expansion and collaboration

The activation of this service follows Wayra’s investment, the Corporate Venture Capital of Telefónica, in Perplexity last October. This investment, together with that of other renowned investors such as Nvidia, Databricks and Jeff Bezos, reinforces Wayra’s commitment to avant -garde technologies such as AI. The agreement with Movistar is part of a global telephone collaboration with Perplexity, which is already being implemented in Brazil and the United Kingdom, and will be launched soon in other countries where Telefónica operates.

Perplexity in Movistar Plus+

Telefónica has also announced Perplexity’s first experience through television worldwide. An app within the Movistar Plus+ catalog allows customers with a UHD decoder to interact with perplexity. Users can ask questions through the vocal command of Movistar Plus+ and receive answers generated by real time, shown on screen and can be heard.
