Cisco has presented its new Duo Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution, a proposal that redefines the way organizations address digital identity security. In a context marked by the exponential growth of credentials based on Zero Trust.

Duo IAM incorporates a native user directory to simplify identities management, as well as already consolidated functions such as the single login (SSO). Its open architecture allows to easily integrate with third -party identity systems through a new routing engine, which reinforces its flexibility in hybrid environments.

In addition, the solution includes Cisco’s assistant to facilitate its adoption from the first moment. This assistant helps implement and manage the platform proactively, improving the user experience and reducing operational costs.

Jeetu Patel, president and product director in Cisco, warns of the magnitude of the problem: “The security sector faces an ‘identity crisis’, since persistent attacks based on credentials have become one of the most dangerous and expensive challenges.” According to Patel, Duo IAM approach “goes beyond MFA and restores confidence in identity with an approach that attackers hate and users worship.”

Duo iam: tanti -arude and protection ecnology against phishing

Conscious of the growing sophistication of automated phishing through AI, Cisco has reinforced its authentication system with capacities such as proximity verification through Bluetooth (Ble), an experience completely without passwords and protection against session kidnapping through Duo Passport technology. All this, without compromising the ease of use.

Total visibility against invisible threats

The new solution is integrated natively with Cisco Identity Intelligence, the platform that connects identity data and access with artificial behavior and intelligence analysis. This approach allows real -time abnormalities to be detected and adopt progressive responses, such as revoking sessions or isolating network devices.

Todd Thiemann, main analyst in Enterprise Strategy Group, underlines the value of this approach: “Identity gaps are no longer the exception, but the norm. Duo now offers a solution that prioritizes security without increasing friction for users and administrators. Its comprehensive strategy against phishing is a milestone both in protection and in usability.”

With Duo IAM, Cisco reinforces its position as a key actor in the fight against identity threats, proposing a modern, safe and adaptable alternative to the challenges of an increasingly hostile digital world.
