Hewlett Pckard Enterprise (HPE) has announced the launch of two new solutions within his HPE NonSTOP Compute family, designed for business applications that require maximum reliability and operational continuity. HPE NANTIP COMPUte NS5 X5 and NS9 X5 models will be available from June 2, and suppose a significant leap in processing, memory and connectivity, responding to the current needs of modern data centers.

Both systems are based on high tolerance to the characteristic failures of the NOSTAP range, and incorporate key improvements in hardware, networks and security, which makes them an ideal option for environments where interruptions are not an option. From payment processing and fraud detection to intelligent manufacturing month systems, these solutions are designed to maintain operational activity without cuts.

«With the launch of HPE NISTOP COMPUte NS5 X5 and NS9 X5, we reinforce our commitment to offer an architecture designed for failure tolerance and high performance. Our clients can climb their operations and innovate with total confidence, ”says Casey Taylor, general director of HPE Nictop.

HPE NANSTOP IMPROVEMENTS IMPROVEMENTS

The entry model NS5 X5 incorporates Intel Xeon Bronze 3400 processors, while the NS9 X5 flagship is based on the Intel Xeon Gold 6400, offering up to 15 % more performance capacity. In addition, both models double the available memory compared to previous generations, reaching up to 8 TB.

These technical improvements not only increase performance, but allow sectors such as the financial process to process more transactions per second, and the manufacturing industry integrate multiple plants with greater fluidity, accelerating decisions in real time.

One of the outstanding novelties of NS9 X5 is its ability to integrate into cluster with previous generations of the NonSTOP family, thus facilitating a stepped transition without interruptions. To this is added the new version of the operating system, which incorporates multifactor authentication (MFA), in line with standards such as GDPR, PCI-DSS or Hipa, and which helps reinforce safety and regulatory compliance.

Critical infrastructure at the service of key sectors

Among the current NANSTOP customers are six of the ten main global commercial banks, as well as a vehicle rental company that manages up to 80,000 daily reservations with this technology. These figures show the central role that the reliability of the system in high demand operations plays.

In addition, the new models will be available both in traditional purchase and through the HPE Greenlake flexible consumption model, which opens the door to greater operational and financial adaptability for organizations.
