The independent analysis firm, PENTEO, has highlighted the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in OK Mobility as an exemplary ERP project. This recognition seeks to highlight the key factors for a successful ERP implementation, which simplifies daily operations in a global digital environment.

The growth of OK Mobility, present on four continents, required an ERP to accompany its expansion. For this reason, a system was chosen that would facilitate new procedures and align the company’s strategic objectives.

The chosen software was SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, known for its success in the market. Deloitte, with its experience in SAP projects, led the implementation, which was developed in the Discovery, Design (Logistics and Financial), Construction and Stabilization phases. Supplier and customer collaborated closely for a smooth transition, from national deployment to full international integration in 2025. Currently, five group companies in Spain have already completed the implementation, and the rest are in the migration phase.

“With SAP S/4HANA we have made significant progress in our digitalization strategy and unified our financial processes according to SAP Best Practices,” highlights Juan Luís Ragel, Finance Product Manager at OK Mobility.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition on OK Mobility: ERP integration

The project has unified the sources of information, reducing duplication and improving the reliability of the processes. In addition, it has reduced the time for preparing reports and automated billing and reporting, eliminating human errors. In short, it has improved fleet management, simplified billing and increased productivity.

For Penteo, success is based on Deloitte’s acceptance of change, guided adaptation and Ad-Hoc development. The “SAP Best Practices” guide was crucial in the design. Ad-Hoc development was necessary to cover the differences between OK Mobility processes and SAP standards.

Penteo also highlighted challenges such as the high volume of data to be migrated, the transition from manual to automated processes, and scalability for new countries. Regulatory compliance was essential to comprehensively manage the business and compete in a globalized market.
