Banco Mediolanum has renewed its collaboration with the Spanish technology company Orizon to ensure the optimal performance of its applications and technological infrastructure. Since 2019, Banco Mediolanum has worked with the company to improve its software and streamline its processes, guaranteeing almost instant response times for users.

With the new agreement, Orizon will expand the capabilities of the Technical Performance Office (OTR), created in 2021 by both organizations. This will allow the bank to move towards “dynamic software quality”, ensuring that all applications function optimally, analyzing any anomalies during their execution.

“It is a great honor to continue having the trust of Banco Mediolanum. Collaboration has been excellent and we have consolidated a culture of performance throughout the organization. This new stage will allow Banco Mediolanum to fully adopt the dynamic quality of the software and continue moving towards maximum technological performance,” explains Ángel Pineda, CEO of Orizon.

Mediolanum and Orizon Bank

Orizon’s platform introduces the measurement and monitoring of parameters such as CPU consumption, response times, user perception and compliance with service level agreements (SLA). These parameters, not considered by other methodologies, are essential to have a global vision of the real performance of a system.

This technology detects inefficiencies and proposes solutions so that applications operate at maximum performance and with the lowest possible infrastructure consumption. Since the implementation of the OTR, Banco Mediolanum has improved response times by 20%, ensuring the availability of applications for both its more than 1,600 financial advisors and external clients. In addition, it complies with key regulations in the financial sector.

“We constantly work to achieve the best levels of service, always looking for the best partners. We are convinced that this expansion of the collaboration with Orizon will consolidate the performance of our applications and technological infrastructures, with the aim of offering the best service to our clients and Family Bankers,” adds Gonzalo Bonet, CIO of Banco Mediolanum.
