Anker has introduced a new charger to its offer, which can successfully replace all similar devices you have at home. With a power of 250 W, you can charge your laptop, phone, tablet and watch, and at the same time.

Chargers with several USB-C/A ports are becoming increasingly popular and more powerful. Thanks to GaN technology, their size does not have to be large at all, and yet they are able to offer a lot of charging power. The latest Anker Prime Charger is one of the quite large charging stations, but thanks to this it is very versatile. The charger is able to offer a total power of 250 W, which will be divided into 4 USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. What’s more, the charging power can be conveniently adjusted using the knob, and the built-in display shows not only the current charging power for the USB-C ports, but also the total value. However, when you are not using the charger, the date and time are displayed on the screen.
Prime Charger is able to deliver 140 W on the first USB-C port and a maximum of 100 W on the remaining ones, with the provision that the total power cannot exceed 250 W. However, using the USB-A ports located on the side, you can charge devices with a maximum power of 22.5 W. With this power supply, you can successfully charge two laptops, a phone and a tablet at the same time, which is nothing extraordinary these days. What’s more, you can also use it to charge watches or other smart accessories, and have all the cables connected to one device at the same time.
The Anker product can operate in several modes. In AI Power Mode, it automatically adjusts the charging power to what the receiver currently connected to each port can accept. You can also set the priority for the first two USB-C ports, so that the maximum available power is provided on them, and on the remaining ports, whatever remains available. This works well when you want to quickly charge, for example, two laptops. Using the knob on the side, you can also conveniently control the charging power, if, for example, you do not want your smartphone to be charged with maximum power, which does not necessarily have to be healthy for its battery. However, the Prime Charger is not cheap, the price has been set at just under $170.
