Virtual Cable has gathered its network of partners and alliances in the Partner Day Iberia 2025, held in Madrid. With more than one hundred attendees, the day focused on the latest trends in the virtualization of the job, under the motto “growing together driven by the Smart Digital Workplace.” The company analyzed how these solutions are leading the change towards more efficient, flexible and safe work environments, both in the public and private sector.

The event included two round tables in which first level and wholesale manufacturers participated. At the first table, dedicated to infrastructure, trends, regulatory compliance and innovation, HPE representatives, Fujitsu, Lenovo and Netapp discussed the challenges and opportunities of the sector. Dora and NIS2 regulations were indicated as key factors in the transformation of labor environments.
The second round table addressed the strategies to achieve a resilient digital work environment. Representatives of Flexxible, Scaly, Ingram Micro and V-Valley discussed the importance of monitoring to guarantee the efficiency, safety and availability of these environments. The relevance of business continuity solutions and data management to minimize risks and maintain the operation of organizations was also highlighted. In addition, the crucial role of wholesalers in the commercialization of solutions within the virtual cable expansion ecosystem was underlined.
Recognition to the best partners and projects of 2024
One of the most prominent moments of the event was the awards ceremony to the virtual cable partners that excelled for 2024 in Spain and Portugal. Velorcios Group was recognized as the best partner UDS Daas 2024, while Claranet was appointed partner of the year 2024 for its capacity for innovation and leadership, as well as for its strategic approach and quality in the execution of projects.

In Spain, the winners were Ozona Tech, for their work with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Lanmedia, for their project with Fagor Arrasate, and Omega Peripherals, for their collaboration with the UNED. In Portugal, Fujitsu Portugal was awarded for his project with the Government of the Azores, and Jolera Portugal received recognition for his work with the University of Las Azores.
