Given the numerous challenges and threats that large companies and public organizations face today to guarantee the continuity of their services, Evolutio QUEEN (Quantum Enabled Enterprise Network) is a network designed to respond to present and future connectivity challenges. Presented yesterday, Evolutio QUEEN focuses on key aspects such as redundancy, electrical autonomy, contingency plans and quantum encryption, with the aim of ensuring the resilience and protection of companies against any unforeseen event.

During the presentation event held before clients and technological partners, Jacinto Cavestany, CEO of Evolutio, highlighted that “we have the ambition that the data centers of our country can be served on our network and with resilience. Through QUEEN we offer any organization, public or private, the connectivity it may need, with the possibility of incorporating redundancy at all times.”

The solution is not intended to replace, but rather to complement, existing infrastructures, offering companies scalability, flexibility and improved security for corporate data centers. It uses collaboration with strategic partners such as Lyntia, Fortinet and Starlink, among others, to integrate advanced and innovative technologies that can guarantee robust connectivity protected against cyber threats and infrastructure failures.

Resilience plans

The resilience plan that Evolutio offers through QUEEN is articulated in three fundamental levels: network design and architecture, with continuity, emergency and continuity plans guaranteeing monitoring; equipment and observability on SDWAN, SASE and PQC encryption; and finally, management and services, both during the deployment of the network and during its subsequent operation, also offering diversification of critical infrastructure. Roberto Rodriguez-Barga, commercial director of Public Sector and Critical Infrastructures at Evolutio, was in charge of breaking down the details, ensuring that “the millisecond synchronization of communications is essential and that is why I can affirm that QUEEN is the queen of the networks.”

Multi-level resilience with redundant lines, high availability, electrical autonomy with up to 24 hours, emergency plans of up to 6 months and quantum encryption. “All this is QUEEN, with which we respond to the needs of organizations without having to discard the infrastructure they already have,” he concluded.

Evolutio with QUEEN: quantum encryption and satellite connection

The protection of data in transit that Evolutio has adopted with QUEEN is post-quantum cryptography (PQC), which ensures that information encrypted today will remain resistant to the power of the quantum computers of the future. The new service aims to expand the network by incorporating new nodes in the main data centers of the Iberian Peninsula. These nodes will have multiservice ports that, in addition to allowing connection to Ethernet links, will facilitate interconnection with public and private cloud providers, SaaS solutions and the Internet.

QUEEN also integrates the LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite network, both for headquarters that require a physical means of dual connection, and for individualized portable solutions aimed at senior managers and critical personnel who must maintain connectivity from anywhere. This technology guarantees communication even in crisis situations, emergencies or blackouts such as those suffered months ago in our country, in which many services considered critical were affected.
