With the launch of its Enterprise Data Cloud (EDC) platform and the renewal of its flasharray and flashblade ranges, Pure Storage is committed to a comprehensive, simple and scalable vision to deal with current challenges in hybrid and multicloud environments.
In a context where data volumes are triggered by artificial intelligence and companies demand more agile responses, the company proposes to abandon the traditional storage management and focus directly on the value that the data provides to the business. “It’s time to stop managing storage and start managing the data,” says Charles Giancarlo, CEO of Pure Storage.
The concept of Enterprise data cloud Redefine the storage approach, providing a common data layer that extends from local data centers to the public cloud and hybrid environments. The heart of this architecture is Pure Fusion, a system that converts storage into a set of adaptable resources with centralized control, arrays self -determination and remote supply for block loads in block, file and object.
Automation, cornerstone of the new platform reduces the risk of human errors and facilitates the orchestration of workflows through integrations with ecosystems as diverse as VMware, Microsoft, Cisco or Servicenow. In addition, thanks to the collaboration with partners such as Rubrik and Crowdstrike, Pure has incorporated the latest generation cybercraft capabilities, threat detection and automatic recovery with an almost null RTO.

Extreme performance and consolidation with flasharray and flashblade
Together with the EDC strategy, Pure Storage has presented new versions of its All-Flash storage star ranges. Flasharray // XL R5 raises performance at extreme scales, doubleing the capacity of operations per second compared to previous generations. For its part, the new flasharray // ST has been optimized for environments that require minimal latencies, such as data bases in memory or distributed NSQL.
In the field of unstructured data, Flashblade // S R2 improves speed and efficiency in tasks such as AI inference, genomic sequencing or electronic design, while the extension of the support of objects to flasharray allows a unified management of blocks, files and objects on a single platform.
“The logarithmic growth of the value of the data requires an infrastructure that is not limited, but accompanies that evolution,” explains John Colgrove, founder and visionary of the company. “Pure Storage offers something extraordinary by rejecting the rules that have limited innovation in storage.”
A vision that applies today
For analysts, Pure Storage’s proposal represents more than a technological evolution: it is a structural change in the way of managing business data. “Pure is making the vision of a business data cloud in a way that can be applied today,” says Matt Kimball, vice president of Moor Insights & Strategy. “With incorporated automation, intelligence and simplicity, it is a bold approach that marks a new standard for the sector.”
Pure Storage thus reinforces its positioning as leader in innovation and reliability, offering organizations the necessary tools to climb without complications, adapt flexibility and protect themselves with resilience, all without giving up a simple and coherent user experience.
