Ricoh has announced the complete integration of IPM into its organizational structure, within the Professional Services area and the Cloud and Cyber business. This movement marks the closing of a stage of transformation that began several years ago and that today crystallizes into a unified value proposition under the company’s brand.

A new chapter in Ricoh digital services

Since its acquisition in 2019, IPM has been a key piece in Ricoh’s strategy to strengthen its offering in hybrid infrastructure and cybersecurity. The company, specialized in modernizing critical IT infrastructures, has provided technical knowledge and experience in complex projects, allowing Ricoh to expand its reach and response capacity to the digital needs of organizations.

Effective November 1, the integration represents the addition of almost 300 IPM specialists to the Ricoh Professional Services team, which already has more than 500 professionals. With this, the company moves towards a joint market model, integrated operational management and a single corporate image, strengthening its position in the Iberian market.

“With this integration, we conclude a purchase operation in which we have guaranteed a smooth transition to the team and our clients. Throughout these years, we have worked together, taking advantage of synergies and reaching more clients with unique capabilities that support their digital transformation processes. From now on, they will only perceive the change for billing purposes,” explains Ramon Martin, CEO of Ricoh Spain and Portugal.

A diversification strategy that pays off

The announcement confirms the success of the diversification strategy initiated by Ricoh in Spain and Portugal more than five years ago. In addition to IPM, the company acquired TotalStor in 2019 and Pamafe in 2021, strengthening its capacity in IT services, process automation and digital infrastructure. This evolution has allowed it to become a strategic partner for thousands of companies seeking to accelerate their digitalization without losing security or operational efficiency.

Today, Ricoh structures its business into three large areas that combine technology, innovation and added value. The first, Digital Workplacecovers printing, collaboration and audiovisual solutions aimed at improving the workplace. The second, Process Automationfocuses on business process automation, document management and application modernization. Finally, Cloud and Cyber concentrates the offer of data center modernization, cybersecurity and cloud services, an area that is growing driven by the massive adoption of artificial intelligence in corporate environments.

Leadership in digital services in the age of AI

The new model reinforces Ricoh’s role as one of the strongest players in the technological modernization of companies, especially at a time when AI is transforming business processes. The company combines the local experience of its teams with the global capabilities of the group to offer integrated solutions that facilitate automation, advanced analytics and intelligent information management.

“In Spain and Portugal, new areas represent 52% of turnover, and we are trusted partners of thousands of companies in key segments, such as collaboration and audiovisuals in the workplace, data center modernization strategies and cloud computing or process automation through AI,” says Ramon Martin.

This milestone consolidates Ricoh’s leadership in digital services, not only due to its broad portfolio of solutions, but also due to the coherence of its proposal and its ability to accompany companies throughout the technological transformation cycle.
