In a strategic movement that reinforces its turn towards a more digitized security model, Securitas Security Spain has appointed Roberto Alfonso as the new national director of his technology business line. The company continues its road map to integrate high -value -value technological solutions in its service offer, key to lead the process of transformation of the sector.
The appointment occurs at a decisive moment, after the stage of Medora Miranda, current CEO, at the head of the technological area, a period in which Securitas has consolidated its position as one of the referents in electronic security and advanced monitoring.
With more than 25 years of experience in the ICT field, Roberto Alfonso assumes the challenge of climbing the technological proposal of the company. “We have the objective of continuing and accelerating the work done in recent years to make innovation and transformation the growth axes of a totally differential technological offer,” said the new national director of Technology.
From his new position, Alfonso will be responsible for promoting the weight of technology within the portfolio of securitas services, with special focus on the generation of value for customers through integrated safety solutions. Formed as computer engineer by ICAI-ICADE, Roberto Alfonso has held management positions in consulting and technological integrators since 2008, with responsibility for projects in both Spain and Latin America. Its trajectory covers from operational management to business development, leading digital transformation processes into large companies and diverse sectors, including cybersecurity.
Its incorporation is part of a broader strategy of renewal of talent within securitas, which seeks to balance the internal experience with new profiles that provide a different look.
