Salesforce has launched Salesforce Foundations, a no-cost upgrade that brings powerful cross-departmental capabilities to all of its customers. This upgrade includes Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, and Data Cloud tools all integrated into a revamped user interface, enabling businesses to gain a holistic view of their customers and create connected, AI-powered experiences across all user engagement points.
Key features of Salesforce Foundations include opportunity management, case management, targeted email campaigns, and secure payment links. All of these are designed to improve the customer experience and streamline operations, without additional costs or the need for complex data integrations. Additionally, users have access to thousands of pre-built extensions and integrations through the AppExchange, including free trials from over 25 leading partners like Docusign, RingCentral, and ZoomInfo.
“Businesses need a single, trusted partner to deliver the personalized experiences customers expect. With Salesforce Foundations, businesses across all industries can leverage sales, service, marketing, and commerce capabilities along with unified customer data on a single platform, allowing them to manage their entire front office in one place to increase revenue, respond to service requests, create marketing campaigns, set up payments, and more,” said David Schmaier, president and chief product officer at Salesforce.
Salesforce Foundations Highlights
79% of customers want consistency in their interactions with companies, but 55% say they feel like they’re dealing with disconnected departments rather than a unified entity. Salesforce Foundations addresses this problem by connecting departments, providing new capabilities to Sales and Service Cloud users. By integrating Sales, Service, Marketing, and Commerce data into a single platform, you ensure a consistent experience no matter where a customer is in the process.
Unlike other CRM solutions that focus on one or two business areas, Salesforce Foundations, along with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, now incorporates integrated Marketing and Commerce capabilities, making it easy to create connected customer experiences without additional costs or data complications.
Salesforce Foundations tools are built on the core Salesforce platform and powered by data from the Salesforce Data Cloud, which centralizes and harmonizes customer information from across the organization, including data that was previously inaccessible or scattered. This, in turn, powers AI and automation to deliver more relevant and personalized customer experiences.
