Sisteplant has presented its innovative R-Bot Reliability Bots platform, a technological ecosystem designed to operationally integrate autonomous mobile robotics in industrial environments and move towards a Cyberplant model, where people, robotics and artificial intelligence work in a coordinated manner.
The event, held at the CEOE headquarters in Madrid under the title “Human-robot collaboration in the Cyberplant”, brought together representatives from the industrial and business spheres to learn about this proposal, which allows connecting the physical and digital world of the factory through the integrated management of fleets of flexible robotics aimed at maintenance, inspection and quality tasks.
From the institutional level, Jaime Martínez, general director of Economy and Industry of the Community of Madrid, and César Franco, president of the General Council of Official Colleges of Industrial Engineers of Spain (CGCOII), participated.
Tools with predictive capabilities
In his speech, Alfonso Ganzabal, CEO of Sisteplant, stated:
“With the incorporation of R-Bot, we give a decisive boost to our Manufacturing Intelligence suite, the digital pillar of our Cyberplant model. This new development marks a milestone in our value proposition and reinforces our positioning at the forefront of industrial digitalization and applied robotics. We will soon take another step forward with Insights, a solution that will expand the application of AI in our software ecosystem and enhance the predictive capabilities linked to robotics. This evolution reflects our ambition to lead the development and implementation of “Cyberplants.”
With the launch of R-Bot, Sisteplant is at the forefront of digital and industrial transformation in Europe, as it is the first heterogeneous European robotics ecosystem.
An integrated operating model for the industry of the future
During the day, Sisteplant has shown how this platform allows the integration and management of fleets of heterogeneous mobile robotics, including ground robots, drones and IoT devices, facilitating their autonomous, coordinated and fully connected operation with industrial management systems, such as Prisma GMAO and Captor MES.
R-Bot introduces a model in which robotics stops being an isolated element and becomes an integrated layer within the production system. Thanks to this approach, industrial plants can automate inspection, maintenance, operation and safety tasks through robotics, improving operational continuity and reducing exposure to human risk.
In addition, the platform allows us to move towards “robot-ready” environments, where decision-making is supported by real-time data and fluid interaction between people and robotic systems, consolidating an approach aligned with the principles of industry 5.0.
In this context, David López, Vice President of Innovation and Operations at Sisteplant, highlighted:
“R-Bot was born from the need to evolve the industrial model and integrate digital systems with physical operations. It is not just about incorporating robotics, but about transforming the way in which processes are organized and executed, connecting data, people and robotics systems in a single industrial operating system.”
Real use cases
The event included the presentation of different real use cases, as well as a live demonstration of the system, in which attendees were able to see how robotics can automate inspection, maintenance and supervision tasks, reinforcing operational efficiency and plant safety.
These applications demonstrate the potential of human-robot collaboration and advanced robotics to improve industrial competitiveness and address structural challenges in the sector, such as staff shortages in critical tasks, safety requirements or the need to optimize resources.
Commitment to innovation and the business ecosystem
The choice of the CEOE headquarters for this presentation reinforces Sisteplant’s commitment to promoting the competitiveness of the Spanish business fabric through technological innovation, industrial digitalization and the development of robotics solutions.
These applications demonstrate the potential of human-robot collaboration and advanced robotics
In this sense, Álvaro Ballarín, head of CEOE’s Industry and Energy Area, has declared:
“It is a privilege to witness first-hand the evolution of innovation in Spain. R-Bot is an example of the potential of the Spanish business fabric to lead industrial development around the world, especially in the field of robotics. We want to thank Sisteplant for its commitment to innovation and its effort to advance the industry towards more efficient, safe and sustainable production models.”
Sisteplant has various methodologies and its own tools for organization, automation and advanced software. The R-Bot Reliability Bots solution joins the existing Captor MES, Prisma CMMS/CMMS as well as Advanced Engineering.
