Telefónica has relaunched TU Latch, a second-factor digital authorization solution aimed at individuals, businesses and developers, which has been redesigned and improved with new features. This update makes TU Latch an essential tool to combat cyberthreats on the network, providing an additional layer of security to applications, accounts and online services.
One of the key features of TU Latch is the creation of ‘security latches’ that can be opened and closed simply and effectively, allowing you to manage access and protect functions without having to remember multiple complex passwords. It also offers two-factor authentication (2FA) using the TOTP and HOTP algorithms, ensuring that only the authorized user can access their accounts and, in the event of device loss or theft, allows data recovery through cloud security.
“We are delighted to relaunch the TU Latch service. The service is back with new features that allow for securing web3 applications and services, such as the authentication of Smart Contracts on the Blockchain, offering the possibility of enabling or disabling transactions in the web3 world to ensure security in the cryptocurrency ecosystem or protect users’ NFTs,” explains Saray Arranz Cancho, Head of Product at TU Latch.
TU Latch protects the digital identity of individuals and companies
Another notable feature is ‘Safe Browsing’, which authenticates the websites visited by users and companies using a second authentication and web authorization factor, automatically detecting threats and malicious content. Once detected, it blocks the websites on any WiFi network to which the device is connected, guaranteeing security and privacy during browsing. TU Latch is currently available for Android and will soon be available for iOS.
The new version of TU Latch includes advanced tools for decentralized applications, offering enterprises and developers robust protection against cyberattacks. It also incorporates instant notifications that alert users in real time about access attempts and suspicious behavior.
TU Latch also provides peace of mind to businesses by protecting their accounts from unauthorized access in sectors such as education, e-commerce, web3, fintech, among others. It uses cutting-edge cybersecurity technology to defend against cybercriminals, making it a trusted choice for businesses looking for a secure identity management system.
For ease of use, TU Latch offers businesses and developers easy integration through an intuitive dashboard, providing assistance and support to resolve any queries. It also allows access to real-time metrics for latch tracking and customer behavior analysis.
