ServiceNow has released the annual Employee Experience Trends 2024 report, which explores how artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation are shaping the future of work and redefining the priorities of global HR leaders.

This analysis, prepared in collaboration with the international consulting firm ThoughtLab, is based on a survey of 1,225 human resources managers in large and medium-sized companies in 13 countries, including Spain, and reveals how technological advances are impacting the work experience. of the employees.

In this transformative scenario, collaboration between CEOs and human resources managers (CHROs) is intensifying. The latter are assuming a more strategic role in business transformation, which is proving key to enhancing employee satisfaction, increasing productivity and, ultimately, improving the overall results of companies.

A change driven by technology

The Employee Experience Trends 2024 highlights that 65% of human resources managers surveyed believe that AI will radically change the way they work, and 67% of the most innovative CHROs in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) agree. convinced that digitalized experiences will shape the future of the way organizations operate and manage talent. In fact, advances driven by AI and new technologies are not only allowing organizations to optimize processes, but also reallocate human resources towards higher-value tasks.

In this sense, 60% of HR leaders. HH. in EMEA believes that digitalization significantly improves employee productivity and believes that these technologies will increase professional loyalty by offering a more connected and efficient work experience.

In this context of transformation, the report highlights that human resources managers are assuming an essential role for business change. According to global data, 45% of these professionals are now more involved in business decisions related to growth, while 36% are focused on leading change management.

In this scenario, talent management and skills development are prominent priorities. More than half (56%) of HR leaders surveyed in EMEA countries are implementing strategies to improve the employee experience through new technologies, while 47% say they are investing in the development of competencies and 32% in training programs to prepare their teams for the challenges of the future.

The importance of a data-driven approach

Digitalization and the intensive use of data and AI are allowing HR managers. HH. make more informed and strategic decisions. According to the study, 95% of leading managers use advanced data analysis systems to identify shortages of qualified professionals and emerging needs and 47% also use this data to improve talent management planning. According to 41% of HR managers in the EMEA region, companies that digitalize the HR function. HH. and employee experiences experience a series of benefits, such as increased productivity, teamwork, strengthening of company culture and reduced costs.
