As the demand for IT resources increases, a new study reveals that 96% of those responsible for European companies have implemented, or plan to implement, AI agents in the next two years. However, the challenges posed by integration prevent companies from taking full advantage of technological potential to boost digital work, something that could significantly relieve the workload of IT departments.
The results of the study «10th Annual Report Connectivity Benchmark» of MuleSoft, reveal that 94% of European respondents have difficulties to integrate data between systems. In addition, only 32% of applications are usually connected within European organizations, which affects the precision and usefulness of AI agents. The lack of integration limits the ability of these agents to provide precise and contextually rich responses, since they depend on connected data to completely understand the context and nuances of user consultations.
96% of European IT leaders resort to AI agents while the demand for resources grows
The AI agents collect structured and unstructured data from various sources, such as CRM, ERP and HCM, as well as email, PDF files, Slack messages and others, and use them to make decisions and act in any business process. When integrating their data, systems and applications, organizations can use a digital workforce driven by AI. This can act autonomously throughout the company to successfully carry out both simple and complex tasks.
