TrendAI, the business unit of Trend Micro, has announced the integration of NVIDIA Nemotron open weight models into TrendAI Vision One to strengthen cybersecurity in sovereign and private cloud (SPC) environments. This incorporation allows the deployment of cybersecurity capabilities based on artificial intelligence in infrastructures managed by the organizations themselves, maintaining data sovereignty and control over security operations.

The platform, available for deployment in private, sovereign clouds and on-premises environments, responds to the needs of companies and public administrations that must meet strict regulatory and data residency requirements. In this way, they can benefit from the advances of AI applied to cybersecurity without giving up control over the detection, investigation and response to threats.

Open models for sovereignty are key

In a context marked by the tightening of regulatory requirements and the growing concern for the protection of information, regulated sectors and public administrations are looking for cybersecurity solutions that allow them to decide where their data is processed and under what conditions their protection systems operate.

The NVIDIA Nemotron integration addresses this challenge by allowing AI models to run directly on customer-controlled infrastructures, without relying on external inference services. Thus, organizations can incorporate advanced analysis and response capabilities against cyber threats, reinforcing their cybersecurity and maintaining autonomy over their systems and processes.

«Sovereignty goes beyond where the data resides. Organizations also need to have control over where the intelligence acting on them operates and who controls it,” says Rachel Jin, CEO of TrendAI™. “Enterprises should not have to give up the operational benefits of AI because their information and security operations must remain in a proprietary environment. “Our collaboration with NVIDIA allows us to bring these capabilities closer to the infrastructures that our customers choose to control.”

For his part, John Fanelli, vice president of enterprise software at NVIDIA, highlights that “open models offer the transparency and control necessary to implement AI under the criteria of each organization. “With this integration, we help companies realize their potential in environments where sovereignty and operational control are essential.”

Security and control from the beginning

TrendAI Vision One SPC incorporates advanced analytics capabilities to identify complex threat patterns, attack chains, and new risks associated with artificial intelligence. Thanks to NVIDIA Nemotron, cybersecurity teams can investigate incidents more quickly, identify potential threats, and prioritize protective measures based on detected risks.

In addition, its SIEM functionalities based on AI agents facilitate the correlation of security signals and the analysis of possible attacks, always under human supervision. This combination of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity allows us to optimize the response to incidents and adjust actions to the policies and procedures of each organization.

With this integration, TrendAI expands the options for deploying cybersecurity solutions in private and sovereign environments, where data protection, regulatory compliance and operational control are priorities. The proposal seeks to bring advanced AI capabilities closer to organizations’ infrastructures without compromising their digital sovereignty requirements.
