Vertiv has announced four new manufacturing facilities and expansions in the Americas, significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity in infrastructure, energy management and integrated cabinet solutions. These investments strengthen its global manufacturing network and its ability to respond to constantly growing demand.

As data center operators focus on rapidly scaling and accelerating time to first token, Vertiv is uniquely positioned to address the rapidly evolving infrastructure and services requirements for AI factories. This is possible thanks to its commitment to innovation and its solid industrial presence in advanced manufacturing processes.

“Vertiv views AI as a long-term structural trend, and we are accelerating the expansion of our manufacturing capacity to anticipate continued growth in demand,” said Vertiv CEO Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi. “This announcement represents the latest steps in our ongoing approach to manufacturing capacity planning and deployment, as we continue to expand our regional and global footprint. We remain committed to a strategy built on delivering future-ready, high-density solutions that enable our customers to confidently plan for multiple generations of computing.”

• In South Carolina, two new manufacturing facilities focus on Vertiv infrastructure technologies, essential for the speed of data center deployment. These manufacturing plants are expected to increase regional capacity by approximately seven-fold once fully operational. Vertiv integrated power modules constitute a complete modular energy infrastructure that can accelerate the deployment of energy systems by up to 50% compared to traditional construction. For its part, the Vertiv SmartRun prefabricated solution is designed to significantly optimize the adequacy of the data center’s white space, integrating industrialized manufacturing processes. This system is supplied as a unified solution with high-density busway, liquid cooling pipes, networks and enclosure, allowing up to 85% faster on-site deployment time than traditional methods.

• Vertiv’s racks and enclosures unit in Pennsylvania has launched an additional facility to expand manufacturing capacity for cabinets with integrated cooling systems. Developed using advanced manufacturing processes, these solutions are targeted at AI applications in high-density data centers and enable simpler, repeatable and faster deployment compared to traditional on-site integration.

• An expansion in Mexicali, Mexico, will increase regional manufacturing capacity by approximately 45% for energy conversion, conditioning and distribution technologies. These manufacturing capabilities are intended for both high-density AI applications and more traditional payloads.

Comprehensive infrastructure

Vertiv’s innovation strategy and portfolio reflect the demands of the AI revolution, which requires an infrastructure that functions as a single integrated system. From network to chip, and chip to heat reuse, Vertiv provides solutions that are built for total integration, where power, cooling, IT and services operate together and are designed for multiple generations of future computing.

Backed by the recent expansion of its regional manufacturing capacity and an industry-leading comprehensive portfolio, Vertiv enables its customers to deploy efficiently and scale without interruption.
