WatchGuard Technologies announces a strategic alliance with Halo to help MSPs deliver and manage security services with less operational burden and faster response. As part of this collaboration, WatchGuard Cloud will integrate with HaloPSA to bring unified security operations directly into the Halo experience, optimized specifically for the MSP model.
Thanks to this integration with HaloPSA, WatchGuard simplifies the monitoring and management of security posture for MSPs, accelerates response times and streamlines, through the Halo interface, the provisioning, ticket management and billing processes, key elements in the daily operations of any MSP.
Improved efficiency in IT support centers
Security events and licensing signals can trigger automated ticket creation flows, while verified asset and usage rights data improves contractual alignment and recurring billing accuracy in MSP environments. According to the Service Desk Institute (SDI), automation can reduce ticket volume by 30% on average, improving the efficiency of IT support centers while reducing operational costs for each MSP.
“MSPs need security operations that fit the way they work, within the PSA, with precise context and minimal manual effort,” said Ben Oster, vice president of product development at WatchGuard. “Our collaboration with Halo will enable MSPs to act faster and deliver stronger security, with WatchGuard built into the PSA each MSP already relies on.”
WatchGuard offers MSPs a unified approach to security by integrating network, identity, endpoint, and managed detection and response (MDR) capabilities into WatchGuard Cloud. Thanks to the new integration with HaloPSA, MSPs will be able to manage WatchGuard security operations through a single agent within the PSA.
This will allow any MSP’s technicians to work with the right device, license, and event context in exactly the environment where the task is executed, reducing tool proliferation and operational friction, while improving service consistency between MSP customers.
Scaling with lower operational complexity
“Halo MSPs now have a more powerful way to leverage the cybersecurity opportunity with access to WatchGuard’s comprehensive platform,” said Alex Golden, product manager at HaloPSA. “Together, Halo and WatchGuard make it easier for MSPs to expand and scale their security services with reduced operational complexity in any MSP environment.”

“MSPs face increasing pressure to efficiently deliver security while managing increased operational complexity,” said Paul Stringfellow, CTO at Gardner Systems and GigaOm analyst. “Integrating with PSA platforms like HaloPSA is essential for the modern MSP, allowing you to reduce manual effort, speed up response times, and scale more efficiently. As an MSP, when we evaluate vendors, their PSA integration capabilities are top of mind for any MSP.”
