Infoblox has announced a strategic alliance with Google Cloud that promises to transform the way organizations manage their network infrastructures and cybersecurity into hybrid and multi -cloud environments. The objective of this collaboration is to facilitate the adoption of the cloud and respond to the complex challenges posed by the distributed IT models.

The alliance contemplates the joint development and offer of two key solutions: Universal Infoblox DDI for Cloud Wan de Google and Google Cloud Dns Armor, both designed to offer a more agile, safe and scalable network management in distributed environments globally.

“Our alliance with Google Cloud represents a strategic mile Fortune 100 companies, ”says Scott Harrell, President and CEO of Infoblox.

A modern and global infrastructure with universal infoblox ddi

One of the main proposals born in this agreement is the integration of Universal Infoblox DDI with Google Cloud Wanallowing companies to quickly and easily display the NIOS-X solution in AS-A-Service mode, without having a physical infrastructure.

This platform provides critical DNS and DHCP services anywhere in the world, taking advantage of Google Cloud global network infrastructure. Being fully integrated with the Cross-Cloud Network, organizations can unify their trunk networks, SD-Wan and other essential network services under the same solution managed centrally.

The result is a more resilient, efficient and scalable network, which improves the performance of applications and services, even in remote locations. In addition, Universal DDI can be complemented with Infoblox security solutions, allowing companies to apply protection policies consisting of their hybrid environment.

This solution is now available in the Google Cloud Marketplace, which facilitates its adoption by the platform customers.

Advanced protection with Google Cloud Dns Armor

The second major proposal of the Alliance is DNS Armor, a security solution that combines the Infoblox experience in DNS Protector with Google Cloud infrastructure to offer reinforced protection against threats that operate at the DNS level.

Designed to integrate without friction in the cloud environments of the companies, DNS Armor allows to detect malicious behaviors through the analysis of the DNS consultations, including ransomware attacks, communication with command and control servers, attempts to exfiltration of data or threats type Zero Day.

Thanks to its preventive architecture, this technology can identify attacks up to 63 days before other conventional solutions. In addition, its management is carried out directly from the Google Cloud console, facilitating the activation, configuration and supervision of real -time threats. This visibility allows IT administrators to adopt a more proactive and effective security strategy.

Impulse towards the safe and efficient cloud

With this agreement, Infoblox and Google Cloud reinforce their commitment to facilitate the modernization of business IT infrastructure, helping organizations to overcome the technical and operational challenges that it involves operating in a multi-nube environment and increasingly interconnected.
