ZTE has announced the full integration of the latest generation Intel Xeon 6 processors into its R5300 G6 server, which now offers 288 cores, a dual-socket configuration, enhanced memory and expanded I/O capabilities. With this launch, ZTE sets a new standard in computing density, promising to revolutionize the data center hardware industry.
The previous model, the R5300 G5, recently achieved a world record in the CPU Rankings of SPEC, an independent testing organization that evaluates system performance, standing out as a leader in performance and computing capacity globally.

The R5300 G6 is positioned as a step towards a more efficient and ecological future. This launch marks a milestone in ZTE’s mission to create and lead more sustainable and intelligent data centers, focused on maximum efficiency and energy savings, and responding to the growing demands of the sector quickly and accurately.

In addition, ZTE has announced that it will soon launch new hardware based on the latest generation of Xeon® processors, including the high-density server R5200 G6, the mass storage server R5500 G6, and the innovative high-performance server for intelligent AI computing, R6900 G6, all developed for Intel’s new Birchstream platform.
ZTE will also continue to develop this new generation of servers using AMD Zen 5 processors, thus collaborating with both manufacturers.
