The pressure that is being exerted in IT departments, forced to do more with less responding to the changes, is promoting an unprecedented automation wave. In this context, Dell Technologies has presented Dell Automation Platforma software solution designed to transform the way organizations manage infrastructure into private cloud environments, EDGE computing and artificial intelligence (AI).
Far from being another product, it is a strategic proposal that seeks to solve one of the main concerns of the CIO: how to balance traditional workloads with new demands such as containers or AI models, without increasing operational complexity.
“We automate so you can innovate,” summarizes Dell when presenting this platform. The company raises automation as the basis on which IT teams may manage critical infrastructures unified, reduce deployment times and release resources to focus on innovation projects.
A unified platform for hybrid and AI environments
Dell Automation Platform is positioned as a nerve center from which to control private clouds, applications in the EDGE and AI solutions. The proposal combines centralized orchestration, integrated safety and support for multiple suppliers, avoiding the dreaded “vendor lock-in”.
Among its most outstanding abilities are the automation of the complete infrastructure life cycle, the integration with reference tools such as VCenter, Onshift and ITSM, and the possibility of deploying clusters ready for workload in just 2.5 hours, reducing up to 90 % the necessary steps against traditional processes.

The platform is also open and extensible, allowing companies to adapt it to their own devotee and infrastructure environments and code, favoring both standardization and personalization.
Dell Private Cloud: Private cloud without ties
One of the pillars of the new platform is Dell Private Cloud, an environment that evolves to offer more flexibility and control. The solution incorporates support for VMware, Red Hat and soon Nutanix, on a disaggregated infrastructure that allows you to climb storage and computation independently.
This approach helps optimize costs and to improve the use of available resources. In addition, portable software subscriptions and automatic updates, validated with more than 45,000 hours of tests, guarantee stable and safe operation.
Dell NativeDge: Distributed Environments Management
Edge Computing growth forces organizations to manage increasingly distributed infrastructure. For this scenario, Dell proposes Nativeedge, a component designed to simplify the management from a centralized console in SAAS format.
With advanced functionalities such as balancing loads, high availability, migrations or snshots, NativeDge is presented as a safe alternative to traditional virtualization. In addition, it facilitates the transition of VMware -based environments to more optimized architectures for distributed data centers, maintaining third -party hardware compatibility.
Dell ai solutions: artificial intelligence ready to use
The last axis of the proposal, even in the integration phase, are the Dell ai Solutions. This is a centralized catalog of preconfigured solutions, including from language models (LLM) to RAG platforms, developed in collaboration with reference technological partners.
The objective is clear: accelerate the passage of experimentation to production in artificial intelligence projects. These validated solutions seek to reduce the complexity of implementation, while maximizing the return of investment in AI, one of the great challenges facing organizations.
Prepared for a future marked by automation and AI
Dell’s proposal is not limited to offering specific tools, but a complete ecosystem that integrates private cloud, Edge Computing and Artificial Intelligence into the same automation platform. The idea is that IT teams can work with custom blueprints, templates assisted by AI and a unified control of all their infrastructure, reducing risks and deployment times.
