The Alicante company has been working all year on an AI assistant that allows it to continue improving the performance of its 16 clients’ applications.
Orizon has always boasted of the improvements achieved by its clients (most of them in the banking sector) thanks to the company’s optimization of the performance of its applications.
Now, and after almost eleven months of work, Orizon has presented its first AI assistant to optimize the performance of business applications in Spain, aimed especially at CIOs looking for concrete and measurable solutions in the management and improvement of technological infrastructures.
As explained by Ángel Pineda, general director of the firm, this assistant (which is still in the improvement phase) also allows the company to address the lack of talent. “Training a performance analyst costs more than a year, so this assistant is clearly a support. We are not going to replace them, but it helps us,” he noted.
This new AI assistant acts as an automated performance analyst capable of diagnosing, recommending and monitoring improvements in real time, dialoguing in natural language and storing knowledge in its own vector database with more than a hundred typologies of inefficiency and their corresponding solutions.
As the company explained, it was at the beginning of the year when Orizon began working on the development of an assistant capable of naturally answering questions about performance problems, optimization and precise recommendations on critical applications. According to the data provided, the assistant already reached 70% of recommendations considered optimal in the summer, but thanks to deeper integration and training with real cases, its precision and coverage have increased significantly, making the work of both CIOs and DevOps teams and CPOs easier.
All LLMs
Asked what AI had been used for this development, Pineda assured that all standard language models (LLM) have been tested, although it has been customized, and an exclusive Orizon vector database, which includes 108 types of identified inefficiencies.

This allows AI to not only recognize common patterns, but also propose specific solutions, many of them already tested on banking, insurance and telecommunications clients. The wizard offers not only diagnostics, but guidance on what to change and how to do it.
The solution is integrated into Orizon’s BOA platform. It should be noted that, according to the company, this tool is used by practically all large Spanish banks, except for a large entity with a red logo. BOA can analyze the software used by the company’s 16 existing clients regardless of the environment (mainframe, Oracle, cloud or hybrid). It should be noted that Orizon claims that it started the year with 11 clients.
