Epson has just achieved the EcoVadis Platinum rating for sustainability, a recognition from the leading provider of business environment sustainability ratings. This prestigious recognition highlights Epson’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in environmental, labor and human rights practices, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The Platinum rating places Epson in the top 1% of all companies and sectors evaluated by EcoVadis, reflecting the company’s continued efforts in sustainability. Epson increased its overall score from 77 to 83 points out of 100, despite EcoVadis implementing stricter evaluation criteria. This independent certification assures customers that Epson is one of the most responsible companies in its industry.

In the recent evaluation, Epson has achieved an outstanding ranking within its sector, placing itself in the top 1% in both the environment and human and labor rights, and in the top 2% in sustainable purchasing. Additionally, the company is in the top 30% of companies in terms of business ethics. It is important to note that EcoVadis’ evaluation criteria are becoming more stringent; This year, achieving a Platinum medal requires being in the top 1% of all companies evaluated.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized rating company covering more than 220 sector categories and evaluating more than 130,000 companies in 180 countries.
