In a context where digitalization is transforming the labor market, and with a growing shortage of qualified technology professionals, Linkia FP and VASS University have established a collaboration to train Vocational Training students in key digital skills.
The European Commission’s “Digital Economy and Society Index” (DESI) report (2023) reveals that Spanish companies face serious difficulties in finding digital talent, with 57% reporting problems hiring ICT specialists. The most difficult roles to fill include cybersecurity, software and big data experts.
The collaboration between Linkia FP and VASS University seeks to provide future professionals in the technology sector with updated knowledge and training aligned with the needs of the labor market. Linkia FP students and alumni will have exclusive access to CyberTech Academy, an online training program designed by VASS University.
In this environment, students will be able to explore innovative topics taught by active VASS professionals and experts from leading IBEX35 companies. The content focuses on areas of high demand in the technology sector, ensuring that participants acquire the skills most valued by the market.

CyberTech Academy: ICT sector
CyberTech Academy’s main training areas include programming, cloud computing, network administration and cybersecurity, fields where companies have difficulty finding qualified talent. Among the training areas, the following stand out: Scrum, Kanban Methodology, Python, Responsive Design, Git: Version Control, Jira, Introduction to Specialization in QA, Cloud Computing and Cloud Architecture, Cloud Databases, Server Administration, Advanced Networks : VPNs, Firewalls and WAN, Network Design: Infrastructure, Technologies and Performance, Pentesting and Security Testing, and Design of Switched Networks, among others.

In addition, Linkia FP students will be eligible for scholarships provided by the VASS Foundation for the Promotion of Digital Talent, allowing them to access highly specialized courses with durations between 40 and 180 hours. These training sessions, convened periodically, are focused on obtaining certifications and technical qualifications that are in high demand by technology companies.
