Modernize data management and transform customer experience. That is the challenge that Paradores has marked in its 2023-2026 strategic plan, and to achieve this has trusted Minsait, the indra subsidiary specialized in digital transformation. The public company, which receives more than one and a half million visitors every year in its almost one hundred establishments, wants artificial data and intelligence to become allies of your business.
The project, which will be developed in two phases and will conclude in October 2026, implies both the implementation of a data system and migration to the Amazon Web Services cloud (AWS).
Government of data and the basis of change
The first stage contemplates the implementation of Anjana Data Platform, a key technology to ensure that the information and models of the Paradores are managed with quality, security and under European privacy regulations. This solution will not only allow more informed decisions, but also reinforce confidence in the use of artificial intelligence in a especially sensitive sector such as tourism.
“Paradores is demonstrating that it can increase its abilities with advanced technologies and remain a reference for our tourism heritage,” says Emilio Mora, global tourism director in Minsait. “It is an example of the Spain brand as the present and future of our country.”
This project adds to the implementation of the Minsait Hotel Management Platform in the Tourist Public Company, immersed in an ambitious process of adoption of advanced technologies
Migration to the cloud and use cases
The second phase of the project will take all the data of Paradores to the Cloud Ecosystem of AWS, which will allow the workforce to work with more precise and accessible information in real time. This will translate into an improvement of internal processes in logistics, operations and finance.
In addition, three use cases will be developed that will link data from different areas of the business. The first is already underway and focuses on analyzing the behavior of users in digital channels, in order to customize offers and experiences according to search preferences, travel dates or more requested features of the accommodations.
An integral transformation underway
This is not the only project in which Minsait participates in the Strategic Plan for Paradores. In parallel, the technology company is deploying a new hotel management platform to optimize the reservation system and respond to the sector innovations during the next few years.
The betting of artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis is framed in a broader movement of tourism digitalization in Spain, where personalization and operational efficiency make a difference in competitiveness.
