The digital work landscape has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, leading both companies and suppliers to adapt quickly. This process has improved the perception of digital maturity, and currently almost half of Spanish companies believe they have reached an optimal level regarding their Digital Workplace.
Following this point, the independent analysis firm PENTEO has presented its report “Penteo Universe of Digital Workplace Service Providers 2024”, which evaluates the positioning of the main integrators in Spain according to their capabilities, perceived quality, projection and services.
The 9 providers highlighted in this study are Accenture, Atos, Capgemini, Claranet, Flexxible, Econocom, Kyndryl, Sosmatic and T-Systems, all of them recognized for offering complete, automated and secure solutions for the digital transformation of the work environment and its adaptation to new user demands.
Advances towards automation
With the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), the digital workplace incorporates virtual assistants and co-pilots in productivity and collaboration tools. In addition, virtual agents specialised in the knowledge of each company are emerging. Mobility, collaboration, data analysis and AI solutions, together with remote support and monitoring, are now part of the standard catalogue of providers, especially after the consolidation of hybrid work, adopted by more than a third of Spanish companies.
The report shows that corporate providers are focusing on automation solutions and modern management of the digital workplace.
Cloud-based solutions have also gained ground as companies migrate from traditional data centers to cloud computing, seeking to maximize employee productivity and improve their well-being, which has driven the use of digital tools.
Emerging trends Digital Workplace 2024
The PENTEO study also indicates that users are demanding more specialized solutions tailored to their business needs. Providers are responding with vertical offerings that provide value from the start. In the coming years, large-scale automation is expected to continue to evolve, with services customized to user activities and preferences, which will help improve employee experience and attract and retain talent, aligning this experience with companies’ strategic objectives.
