Today, Faustyna Maciejczuk’s new single, “I Want You More,” debuted on Apple Music and YouTube.
There would be nothing extraordinary about it if not for one detail – the music video for this single was filmed entirely on an iPhone 15 Pro Max and edited on a MacBook.
The whole thing was directed by visual artist Konrad Tułak (nghtlou):
This is my first music video made with a smartphone and probably not the last. When you record something with such a small device, you feel like you can take a shot whenever you need it. You don’t have to arm yourself with a backpack full of equipment, additional lenses, weights. I’ve learned that an iPhone can be the first choice for a camera in certain situations. The future is now.
This premiere makes us realize something we have stopped paying attention to – how much smartphones have changed our lives over the last decade. Previously, when we went on vacation, we would stock up on cameras to capture these moments of relaxation in good quality.
Today, smartphones are already replacing devices dedicated to photos to a sufficient (quality) extent. In the meantime, we have forgotten about traditional photo albums, and some of us no longer have them or have never even had them – we keep everything in the clouds.
The above example shows that cameras in the latest smartphones are already able to meet the requirements of even professionals, and not so much when taking photos, but when recording videos.
